Food for this party had to be kid and adult friendly. For that reason, we served cupcakes, scones, pastries, chocolate dipped strawberries, cookies, and plenty of goldfish.

With the theme being an ocean “one”derland, I used whales throughout the entire party. The color theme for this party was teal, light blue, and red. It was a lot of fun coming up with ideas and decorations!

I made a banner out of cardstock and ribbon that hung above the dessert table. I also made a photo collage display with a picture for each month of the first year of L’s life.

I made a large ocean mural out of paper that hung in the basement. The kids colored cut out ocean creatures and decorated them with paint and crayons. Linus and I had made a few the week before to give them some ideas :)

All of the kids took home a beach bucket with a shovel, bath toy, bubbles, and a small package of goldfish crackers!
