Red, white, and blue served as the color palette for this party. Our centerpiece was made with three brown glass bottles wrapped in decorative paper and ribbon and then filled with white flowers. We placed it on a bright blue cake stand, which would later hold our cupcakes. We decorated the cake stand with red and blue paper bunting.
Instead of traditional confetti adding color to our table we made bottle cap confetti by painting used bottle caps red and blue and adding a paper star punch to the top. One final touch on the table were several kinds of root beer available for guests to sample.
Decorating our fence was red and white pinwheel garland. Made from felt and inspired by this tutorial from eighteen25. It looked great and was very simple to make.
And last, but not least when guest first arrived they were welcomed by our Fourth of July bottle cap sign. A $2.50 purchase from Target’s dollar section. We covered up it’s original “Tiki Bar” picture with a new sign using scrapbook paper and paper punched stars. It fit our theme perfectly.
