Not only did the guests have a selection of root beers to try, but they also had root beer float cupcakes to enjoy. We used the oh so simple recipe from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen for the cake and topped ours with whipped cream, a cherry, and a little red & white paper straw.
The cupcakes taste as yummy as they look and have an light (almost bubbly or sparkling) flavor. A refreshing summer treat! They looked great on our blue cake stand surrounding our centerpiece.
