We wanted to keep our decorations frightfully simple at this party. Using the classic Halloween colors of black and orange with accents made from the pages of an old book. Our book pages became buntings, table runners, and drink wraps. Pumpkins, spiders, and skulls also graced our tables. The silverware caddy we made last week fit in beautifully with the rest of our table.
We used black and orange ribbon where we needed a pop of color on our tables that were draped in black cloth. Soda was labeled with “Drink if you Dare” stickers and guests were advised to pick their poison from a sign that resembled the invitation.
After all this decorating we were still left with about 200 pages from our book. On Friday we’ll be sharing some other ideas for those leftover book pages. Come back tomorrow for more about our spooky story menu.
