When my husband’s birthday was coming up, I was trying to think of something fun and thoughtful to do for him. The last year had been rough and I wanted to do something that would make him feel special. Inspired by oh happy day, I asked friends and family to send me their favorite memory with Ed. It was fun to reconnect with some of his family and friends from past seasons in life. I printed each one off on colorful paper and put one in each envelope. When he got home work on his birthday, a huge 35 awaited him on the living room wall.
The best part was sitting down with him to read them all. I knew the majority of the stories that people shared but there were a few I had never heard before. It was fun to have him remember these special memories as well as share them with me.
Happy Planning,

I love this! I would do this with my kids as well. Maybe even transform it into some sort of scavenger hunt for a gift. My husband may like it as a scavenger hunt as well. This is such a fun idea!
